When am I eligible for my License?
- 18 years old and up now only have to have their permit for 30 days
- 15-17 year olds must have held your SC drivers permit for 6 months or 180 days
- If you are 15 ½ you must present a PDLA form that covers parental permissions, school permissions and instructor permissions to the DMV. This form is provided by RPM

Have a suspended license?
- Your suspension time must be completed in order to test with us
- You can renew your license with us as long as you have paid all fees due to the SC DMV

- South Carolina requires all permit holders from another state to obtain a SC beginner's permit
- Out of state license holders will need to go directly to the DMV to transfer license
Not a U.S Citizen?
- You may obtain a permit with us as long as your documentations are in English, and you have a social security card or have your denial letter. Additionally, you must be able to read English to do the permit test with us. If you need another language, you will have to take that language test at the DMV. If your passport is in another language you must go to the DMV to get your permit.
- When going to the DMV, you will need to provide your social security card ( SS application /denial letter if you don't have the card), passport or visa and any other documentation proving your identity.
- You may obtain your license with us as long as you have a current SC permit.
- SC DMV requires English speaking for all testing, translators are not accepted - for more information for non English speaking needs please contact the International Department with SC DMV.
How long is a driving session on a date following the driver's education class?
- First drive lesson is one hour
- Next drive lessons can be one or two hours depending on your driving abilities or wants
Do I get picked up for my appointments for drive sessions?
- Along with our low package prices, we offer free pick up for locations within 1-6 miles from our office
- 7-10 miles is a $25 charge
- 11-15 miles is a $35 charge
- Any pick ups must be scheduled in advance
Is car insurance required when driving with an instructor?
- All drivers education cars are covered through our insurance.

How to schedule an appointment?
Do I need to double check the DMV records?
- If you owe any fines to the DMV we are unable to test until they have been cleared.
- A friendly reminder to always check with the DMV to make sure you are in good standings.
Refund Policy
- We do not give refunds for services or deposits.
- All sales are final.
Cancellations
- Required 24 hours in advance
- Same day or less than 24 hours notice will incur a $50 fee that must be paid before any other services are given
Length of Contracts
- If you have purchased a driver's education package or adult package with us, services must be completed in 9 months time.
- Any package not completed in 9 months will end the original contract and convert to purchasing individual services.
